Certain vehicles may have been equipped with front seat belt pretensioners that do not meet specifications. This could cause the pretensioners to fail to deploy in the event of a crash, which could increase the risk of injury to the front seat occupants. Correction: Dealers will check the production date of the front seat belt assemblies (which incorporate the pretensioners) and replace as necessary.

On certain F-TYPE SVR specification vehicles, the rear lower control arm knuckle assembly deformable bolt may have been torqued multiple times during the time of assembly contrary to the specification. This could cause the anti-corrosion coating to come off, exposing bare metal to the environment, resulting in premature fatigue failure causing separation of the joint. A separating control arm knuckle assembly could affect vehicle handling and stability increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect and replace any over torqued deformable bolt.

United States records (NHTSA) · 2

These are NHTSA campaigns for 2017 Jaguar F-TYPE vehicles sold in the United States. They are not Canadian recalls: NHTSA's VIN lookup has no Canadian data, and a US campaign may have no Canadian counterpart, or one under a different number covering different vehicles. For a vehicle sold in Canada, go by the Transport Canada listing above and Jaguar's Canadian VIN lookup.
