On certain vehicles, engine coolant could leak through a coolant valve connection. This could cause coolant to migrate into the engine control module, potentially resulting in an electrical short and an engine stall. This would result in a loss of motive power, which could increase the risk of a crash. Correction: Dealers will replace the coolant valve, inspect for coolant migration and repair as necessary.

United States records (NHTSA) · 1

These are NHTSA campaigns for 2012 Audi A8 vehicles sold in the United States. They are not Canadian recalls: NHTSA's VIN lookup has no Canadian data, and a US campaign may have no Canadian counterpart, or one under a different number covering different vehicles. For a vehicle sold in Canada, go by the Transport Canada listing above and Audi's Canadian VIN lookup.
