On certain vehicles, in cases where a weak battery exists, it is possible that a low voltage condition could cause the airbag control unit to improperly set a fault code. If this occurs, the passenger-side frontal airbag will become deactivated and would not deploy during a frontal crash. As a result, a passenger-seat occupant could receive more severe injuries. Correction: Dealers will update the airbag control module software.

United States records (NHTSA) · 2

These are NHTSA campaigns for 2007 Audi A8 vehicles sold in the United States. They are not Canadian recalls: NHTSA's VIN lookup has no Canadian data, and a US campaign may have no Canadian counterpart, or one under a different number covering different vehicles. For a vehicle sold in Canada, go by the Transport Canada listing above and Audi's Canadian VIN lookup.
