  1. Lights and instruments19 Dec 2025

    2025708

Issue: On certain vehicles, the tow hitch harness control module software could cause the instrument cluster to reboot while driving. If this happens, you may not be able to see certain information about the vehicle, including the speedometer, warnings, and tell-tales. Note: This recall only affects vehicles equipped with a 4.2-in screen and a Genuine Kia tow hitch harness. Safety Risk: Warnings, tell-tales and gauges that don't display could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Kia will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the tow hitch harness control module.

  2. Label15 Aug 2024

    2024549

Issue: On certain vehicles, the compliance label may be missing information in French. The words listed on the label for "Tires", "Rims", "Front" and "Rear" appear in English only, when they should be listed as "Tires/Pneus", "Rims/Jantes", "Front/Avant" and "Rear/Arriere". Canadian regulations require this information to be listed on the label in both English and French. Safety Risk: These small errors do not affect vehicle safety. Corrective Actions: This is not a recall. Kia has corrected the compliance label for all new vehicles.

  3. Powertrain1 Aug 2023

    2023421

Issue: On certain vehicles, the circuit board in the electric oil pump assembly for the transmission may be damaged. As a result, the circuit board could short circuit and overheat. Safety Risk: A short circuit could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Kia will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the transmission electric oil pump assembly, and replace it as necessary. Kia recommends parking your vehicle outside and away from other vehicles or buildings until the recall repairs are completed.

  4. Lights and instruments26 Apr 2023

    2023251

Issue: On certain vehicles, the instrument cluster screen could remain blank when the vehicle is started. If this happens, you may not be able to see certain information about the vehicle, including the odometer, warnings, and malfunction tell-tale graphics. Safety Risk: Warnings and malfunction tell-tale information that doesn't display could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Kia will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the instrument cluster software.

  5. Electrical7 Sep 2022

    2022500

Issue: On certain vehicles, a bracket for the folding rear seats can damage the wiring for the rear seat heater. If this happens, the wiring could short circuit. Note: This recall only affects vehicles equipped with fold-and-dive rear seats with the seat heater option. Safety Risk: A short circuit could create a fire risk, even while the vehicle is parked and turned off. Corrective Action: Kia will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to reinforce the rear seat heater wire harness. Kia advises that you may continue to drive your vehicle, but that you should park it outside and away from structures until the recall repairs are completed.
