   Issue: On certain vehicles, the engine may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the engine could make abnormal noises and a warning light may turn on. If you continue to drive the vehicle with these symptoms, the engine could fail. Note: This recall only affects certain vehicles equipped with 1.5 L or 2.0 L variable compression engines. Safety Risk: An engine failure could cause a sudden loss of power to the wheels and/or increase the risk of a vehicle fire. Both issues could increase the risk of a crash or injury. Corrective actions: The company will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the engine. On certain vehicles, the dealer will also update the engine control module.

   Issue: On certain vehicles, the tire and loading information label may have printing errors. As a result, information on the label may be difficult or impossible to read. This could be confusing and lead to overloading of the tires, which can cause poor handling and/or a tire failure. Canadian regulations require this information to be printed clearly on the label. Safety Risk: Poor handling or a tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Nissan will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the tire and loading information label. If there are printing errors, the label will be replaced.
