Campaigns on record across the Honda Trx500fga7-Rubicon-Canadian-Trail-500 (2007), from Transport Canada and, tagged NHTSA, the United States. Pick a model year for the Canadian listing, and check your VIN with Honda to confirm which apply.
On certain ATVs, water can enter the right-side stop-switch and collect inside the plastic sheathing. The trapped water can seep into the wires and, over time, contaminate the throttle position sensor. Water in the throttle position sensor can freeze in cold weather and prevent the engine from returning to idle when the throttle lever is released. This could cause the throttle to stick open, posing a risk of injury or death to riders. Correction: Dealers will modify the wire harness and install a new throttle position sensor.
