On certain fire trucks, the components that make up the 6" water intake strainer may have been improperly soldered during the manufacturing process. This could lead to degradation in pump performance which could reduce firefighting effectiveness, and potentially increase the risk of injury. Correction: Hale Products recommends an inspection be performed by pulling caps and any suction adapters off of the intake and check the strainer for faulty soldering. If the strainer is found to be missing solder at the joint, Hale Products will send a replacement strainer directly to affected owners.

United States records (NHTSA) · 6

These are NHTSA campaigns for 2016 Freightliner M2 vehicles sold in the United States. They are not Canadian recalls: NHTSA's VIN lookup has no Canadian data, and a US campaign may have no Canadian counterpart, or one under a different number covering different vehicles. For a vehicle sold in Canada, go by the Transport Canada listing above and Freightliner's Canadian VIN lookup.
