Certain incomplete vehicles may have been built without corrosion protection on the brake hoses located between the master cylinder and the hydraulic control unit. Premature corrosion of the hoses may cause a brake fluid leak and potentially result in a partial or complete loss of brake function, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will replace the affected brake hoses.

On certain vehicles, a clip that locks the gear shift cable to the transmission may not be fully seated. Over time, this could allow the transmission to be in a gear state different than the gear shift position selected by the driver. This condition could allow the driver to move the shifter to Park and remove the ignition key while the transmission gear may not be in Park. If the parking brake is not applied, this could result in unintended vehicle movement, which would increase the risk of crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect the shift cable locking clip and reseat it as necessary.

These are NHTSA campaigns for 2018 Ford F 750 vehicles sold in the United States. They are not Canadian recalls: NHTSA's VIN lookup has no Canadian data, and a US campaign may have no Canadian counterpart, or one under a different number covering different vehicles. For a vehicle sold in Canada, go by the Transport Canada listing above and Ford's Canadian VIN lookup.
Mickey Truck Bodies, Inc. (Mickey Truck Bodies) is recalling certain 2017-2018 Ford F-750 based vehicles equipped with ASA Electronics Voyager monitors used to display the back-up camera image. The affected monitors may revert back to the factory default settings which may cause the camera image to be reversed.
The driver may inadvertently turn the wrong direction to avoid an object behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Mickey Truck Bodies will work with ASA Electronics to notify owners, and provide a remedy to keep the image from reversing, free of charge. The recall began May 9, 2019. Owners may contact ASA Electronics customer service at 1-800-384-4400 or Mickey Truck Bodies at 1-336-882-6806.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2018 Ford F-650 and F-750 trucks. The brake circuit hose assemblies located between the master cylinder and the hydraulic control unit, may have been manufactured without anti-corrosion plating on the coupling fittings, or "ferrules," of the hoses. This can lead to premature corrosion, and result in a brake fluid leak.
A brake fluid leak can reduce brake effectiveness, increasing the risk of a crash.
Ford will notify owners, and dealers will replace the brake hose assemblies, free of charge. The recall began on July 17, 2018. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 18S19.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2018 Ford F-650 and F-750 vehicles equipped with hydraulic brakes. The parking brake cable may not have been adjusted properly, which may result in unexpected vehicle movement. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 105, "Hydraulic and Electric Brake Systems."
For vehicles equipped with a transmission that does not have a 'Park' position or a transmission that has a 'Park' position but the transmission lever is not placed in 'Park', an improperly adjusted park brake cable could result in unintended movement of the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
Ford will notify owners, and dealers will correct the parking brake cable adjustment, free of charge. The recall began on May 25, 2018. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 18C05.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2018 F-650 and F-750 vehicles equipped with 6-speed automatic transmissions and 2018 Ford F-150 and Expedition vehicles equipped with 10-speed automatic transmissions (excluding Expedition vehicles with a Rotary Gear Shift Dial on the console). The gear shift cable clip may not be properly seated, allowing the transmission to be in a different gear than indicated by the gear shift lever position.
If the gear shift cable clip becomes unseated or dislodged, the gear shift lever position may indicate that the transmission is in 'Park' when it may be in a different gear. Additionally, despite selecting 'Park', if the parking brake is not applied before the vehicle is exited, the vehicle may roll. Either scenario increases the risk of a crash.
Ford will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the shift cable locking clip and properly seat it, if necessary, free of charge. The recall began on April 13, 2018. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for the recall is 18S10.

2018 Ford F 750 recall questions
Transport Canada lists 2 recalls for the 2018 Ford F 750 model year. That counts campaigns naming this model year, not recalls on your vehicle: many cover only a VIN range or production window, and some only vehicles found on inspection. NHTSA lists 4 United States campaigns for the US-market model, shown separately; a US campaign may have no Canadian equivalent.
Enter your VIN in Ford's Canadian recall lookup, or call a Ford dealer with your VIN. In Canada the manufacturer is responsible for showing recall and repair status for each VIN, so its lookup is the authoritative answer. Cardog uses your VIN only to find the model year; the recalls shown here are listed for that model year and are not matched to your VIN.
Not necessarily. NHTSA campaigns cover vehicles sold in the United States, and NHTSA's VIN lookup has no Canadian data. When a defect also affects Canadian vehicles, the manufacturer files a separate notice with Transport Canada, often under a different number and sometimes covering a different set of vehicles. For a Canadian vehicle, go by the Transport Canada listing and Ford's Canadian lookup.
Safety recall repairs are normally done at no charge by an authorized Ford dealer. The manufacturer's notice for each campaign sets out the remedy and any conditions, so confirm with the dealer when you book.
Once Ford's lookup or a dealer confirms a recall applies, book the repair with an authorized Ford dealer and bring your VIN. If the manufacturer's notice says not to drive the vehicle or to park it outside, follow that instruction. Parts can take time, so book early.
Follow the manufacturer's notice for that recall. Most allow normal driving until the repair; some tell owners to stop driving or to park outside until it is fixed. Cardog does not grade recalls by severity: the manufacturer's notice and your dealer are the source.
Manufacturers must notify owners they have on record. If you bought the vehicle used or have moved, update your details with Ford Canada so notices reach you, and check the manufacturer's lookup from time to time.
