Issue: On certain vehicles, the power steering pressure line may not be properly connected to the brake booster. As a result, power steering fluid could leak and cause a loss of power steering and power brake assist. Note: Vehicles that were inspected under recall 22S08 (Transport Canada recall 2022-073) also require this repair. This recall only affects certain E-series incomplete vehicles equipped with dual rear wheels. Safety Risk: A loss of power brakes can cause a potential sudden increase in brake pedal force and lead to an increase in stopping distance. A loss of power steering assist can cause a sudden increase in steering effort, especially at low speeds. Both could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the power steering pressure line and the brake booster line.

These are NHTSA campaigns for 2022 Ford E-350 vehicles sold in the United States. They are not Canadian recalls: NHTSA's VIN lookup has no Canadian data, and a US campaign may have no Canadian counterpart, or one under a different number covering different vehicles. For a vehicle sold in Canada, go by the Transport Canada listing above and Ford's Canadian VIN lookup.
