THE DRIVER AND/OR PASSENGER SEAT BELT BUCKLE ASSEMBLY MAY GET ENTRAPPED BETWEEN THE ENGINE TUNNEL AND THE SEAT MECHANISM. ADJUSTING THE SEAT FORWARD AND/OR REARWARD COULD CAUSE THE TETHER OF THE BUCKLE ASSEMBLY TO FRAY. THIS COULD RESULT IN TETHER FAILURE DURING A SUDDEN VEHICLE DECELERATION CREATING THE POTENTIAL FOR PERSONAL INJURY. CORRECTION: BUCKLE ASSEMBLIES WITH TETHER CABLE WILL BE REPLACED ON AFFECTED VEHICLES.

United States records (NHTSA) · 2

These are NHTSA campaigns for 1985 Volvo Fe6 vehicles sold in the United States. They are not Canadian recalls: NHTSA's VIN lookup has no Canadian data, and a US campaign may have no Canadian counterpart, or one under a different number covering different vehicles. For a vehicle sold in Canada, go by the Transport Canada listing above and Volvo's Canadian VIN lookup.
