On certain CLK cabriolet vehicles, the weld nut at the top of the "B-pillar" which is used to secure the front seat belt shoulder anchor bolt may have an inadequate weld. In the event of a collision, the weld may not maintain design integrity and may fail. Correction: Front seat belt shoulder anchor bolts will be replaced with a reinforced version.

United States records (NHTSA) · 1

These are NHTSA campaigns for 1999 Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class vehicles sold in the United States. They are not Canadian recalls: NHTSA's VIN lookup has no Canadian data, and a US campaign may have no Canadian counterpart, or one under a different number covering different vehicles. For a vehicle sold in Canada, go by the Transport Canada listing above and Mercedes-Benz's Canadian VIN lookup.
