Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the rearview camera image not to appear on the display screen. Canadian regulations require the rearview image to display when the vehicle is reversing. Note: This recall replaces Transport Canada recall no. 2023-285. Vehicles that were repaired under that recall also require this repair. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that doesn't display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Mitsubishi will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the infotainment display software.

Issue: On certain vehicles, the compliance label may be missing information in French. The words and abbreviations listed on the label for "TIRES", "RIMS", "WITH", "FR" and "RR" and appear in English only, when they should be listed as "TIRES/PNEUS", "RIMS/JANTES", "WITH/AVEC", "FR/AVT" and "RR/ARR". Canadian regulations require this information to be listed on the label in both English and French. Safety Risk: These small errors do not affect vehicle safety. Corrective Actions: This is not a recall. Mitsubishi has corrected the compliance label for all new vehicles.

United States records (NHTSA) · 9

These are NHTSA campaigns for 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander vehicles sold in the United States. They are not Canadian recalls: NHTSA's VIN lookup has no Canadian data, and a US campaign may have no Canadian counterpart, or one under a different number covering different vehicles. For a vehicle sold in Canada, go by the Transport Canada listing above and Mitsubishi's Canadian VIN lookup.
