On certain medium duty chassis cab vehicles, incorrect coating was applied to the parking brake assembly anchor bolt during fabrication. This could reduce the fatigue life of the bolt and lead to premature failure. If the anchor bolt were to fail, the park brake may not function and there may be no indication to the driver of the malfunction when the park brake is set. This may cause the vehicle to roll away without warning, potentially resulting in a crash. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if required, replace defective bolts.

United States records (NHTSA) · 2

These are NHTSA campaigns for 2005 Ford F 650 vehicles sold in the United States. They are not Canadian recalls: NHTSA's VIN lookup has no Canadian data, and a US campaign may have no Canadian counterpart, or one under a different number covering different vehicles. For a vehicle sold in Canada, go by the Transport Canada listing above and Ford's Canadian VIN lookup.
